BLANK PAGE
Days,
weeks,
waiting to receive a sign,
years,
months,
sure that I left you behind.
a fool to forget it,
self protection/self destruction,
a fool to regret it,
hoping to let it all go.
There’s a blank page on my wall,
where i’m writing all my thoughts,
we are safe here, no one knows here, that I’m hiding all the faults,
the only place I feel secure.
Com-
-plete
disconnection from the pace,
out-
-side,
looking from this piece of mind,
conquered my freedom,
disappear from all the radars,
never complacent,
incapable to let it all go.
There’s a blank page on my wall,
where i’m writing all my thoughts,
we are safe here, no one knows here, that I’m hiding all the faults,
the only place I feel secure.
Come away with me…
… From this outside.
